Paralysis, freeze, uncertainty, overwhelm… these are all things that get in our way. One way to unlock a next step in designing a book, keynote, app or whatever can be relabelling that step.
Such as: rather than “I’m writing a first draft” of a book, I call it “I’m writing my ‘shitty first draft’. Reduces my mental friction for that stage of getting stuff down. Or labelling something “beta” or MV-anything (minimum viable whatever-you’re-doing).
So: I created a "Don't Worry, Be Crappy" book ideas starter worksheet for anyone to throw some first book ideas down.
It’s ungated (no signup required), and you can copy or download it as a Word/Pages doc as you wish. If you have any issues, message me here.
I’ve had a great time giving people early direction in niche, messaging and getting started, so if you use it, there are some instructions in there on how to throw it back to me for guidance.
