hi all, I started this newsletter a couple years ago, while figuring out what I wanted to do for work and life. it took a couple of years (well, maybe 3-4…) and i’m finally heads down designing something new, getting ready to work with a small number of people people that will be a big break from my past.
and it's not related (directly) to sales or outbound...
I'm going back to a lifelong passion: books. the designing, development and revenue of them.
just like there will always be a market and need for new cookbooks, there will always be a need (a growing need) for more types of books for more targeted niches, especially in the areas of sales, growth and revenue.
the ongoing explosion of tech and AI will only create more niches, and micro-niches.
this means 1) there is more of a need for your book, and 2) that the best sales and growth books have yet to be written.
the best books won't be written by AI, but people like you who have stories, experiences and relationships AI can't match.
maybe your desire to write a book is to create an "eternal asset", or build an audience, support a family with more consulting, or get paid to speak.
maybe you're a CEO who wants your business to stand out from the crowd in an ever-busier world.
you want to write a business book? I love (and I don't use that word lightly) helping people design and develop books!
stay tuned.
I'm also intimate with the roadblocks to getting a book written (if I can write one while having 10 kids, you can to), read and spread. and I've got answers coming - which don't include ghostwriting or AI.
for the next couple of years, I'll work hands-on with a few people.
I'm working every day to get some details out as soon as I can.
Until then, try messaging me here on Substack (including about your book idea!) - they have a new chat feature I’m curious about.
:)
